Overview: Cylinder rotary kiln is one kind of rotary kiln, and it has great application in the field of cement industry. The entire cement production process can be summarized as “two grinding steps and one calcination step”, and the “calcination” means the process of burning the raw material which has been grinded and formulated under the high temperatures in rotary kiln. Therefore, rotary kiln is the core equipment of cement production line, and commonly known as the “heart” of cement plant. In building materials industry, the cylinder rotary kiln can be used not only in calcining cement clinker aggregate, but also used to calcine clay, limestone slag; in the production of refractory materials, cylindrical rotary kiln can be used to calcine raw materials to strong its dimensional stability and strength, and then shape them; in the ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, rotary kiln is also the smelting equipment of iron, aluminum, copper, zinc, tin, nickel, tungsten, chromium, filing and other metals. In addition, the speed of rotary cylinder of rotary kiln is relatively slow, and the deceleration device must be used when motor torque is transmitted to drum, because the deceleration device can make chain rotating or friction rotating through the gears.
Safety procedures: The staff must wear labor protective supplies and be careful to avoid being burned by the high temperature in the inspection. Connect control center and place room keys on a non-ready location when checking equipment. The checking of the internal rotary kiln needs to cut-off the power: firstly, cut-off the power of the main motor, then enter the kiln to see if it is loose in the kiln, and staff should stand in the place away from kiln and ensure that nobody is in the kiln when ring kiln is needed.
