Rotary rod mill is one type of rod mill with dry and wet two types for users to choose from, which can be widely used in refractory, chemical industry, metallurgy, glass and other industries, and the grinding operation has a high requirement on the finished milling product, it also can be widely used in sand making industry in recent years.
Composition and Structure
Rotary rod mill is formed with feeding part, charging part, cylinder, discharging part, bearing part, transmission part, electrical appliance part and foundation part. Cylinder is made of steel plates, and the cylinder body often uses waveforms, stepped or wedge liner. There are discrepancy holes on the upper cylinder, which can be used to observe the wear of lining board and griding board, as well as remove the grinding body to replace worn lining board and griding board.
The motor of rotary rod mill drives the cylinder to rotate through speed reducer, and the crushed ore and steel bars in cylinder will be elevated to a certain height by liner through the force of centrifugal and friction when the cylinder is rotating, and then fell down to crush the ore material through great gravity. The crushed products will be discharged through the discharging part. The feeder can feed materials continuously and evenly, so the ore will be fed into the rotary rod mill continuously and evenly by the joint feeder. Finally, the crushed products will be discharged continuously from the rod mill. Rotary rod mill is a kind of grinding equipment can continuously work 24 hours per day.
